The name “Boracay” comes from a lot of origins. One of the famous story is that it came from the word “Borac” which means white cotton that has characteristics close to the color and texture of Boracay’s white and powdery sand.

 

It is best to visit Boracay from the start of September or October until May or June to maximize the season where the water of the White beach is glassy smooth. This tropical island is surrounded with stunning white sand beaches and clear blue waters.
