Mobile internet on Boracay
I’m going to Boracay next month, and would like to use a mobile internet. Read many hotel reviews saying “wi-fi not working” so think I’d better have mine, in case.
Is there any decent option? It can be both sim card or usb router or stick or something.

Alona Beach is what comes to mind as well. It’s a good mix of beach bumming and nightlife like Boracay. The beach is still nice but as not nice as Boracay imo. Continue reading “Which beach is similar to Boracay?”

Let me give you the top 10 things to do in Boracay so you can have the most memorable trip on this side of Philippine archipelago.
1. Water sports.
Boracay is synonymous to beach hence you expect that most of your activities will be water-based. You can enjoy Underwater helmet diving, scuba dive and free diving. Correspondingly, there are over 15 dive sites for these activities. Moreover, if you want to have an eye-view of the beach, you can try Parasailing. However, if your adrenaline will not cooperate up high, you can do the Paraw sailing instead where you can sit on the outrigger of a local sailboat. While all these sports are fun, one awesome thing to do is to ride the Fly Fish where this big inflatable raft is pulled by a speedboat at a high speed. You can check with your hotel the prices of these activities to be sure of what activities are within your budget.
Boracay is a sleepless island. 24 hours a day, there’s always something going on. You just have to know what style you belong to and where to find that place where you would enjoy the most! This island is one such party place that you will not miss in a lifetime! Hence to experience Boracay nightlife is a must for tourists.

Boracay origin is unclear. In one version, it says Boracay comes from the word borac (meaning cotton). The sand of the island’s beaches is similar in texture and colour to that of pure cotton. Another version states that the name derives from bora (bubbles) and bocay (white). The Ati elders thought the white sand resembled water bubbles. Continue reading “Boracay Origin”
